Aggie Haylofters - Colorado
Author Cal Campbell shares his memories of dancing with the Aggie Haylofters, a square dance group at Colorado State University. (CSU was Colorado A&M until it changed its name in the 1950s; you'll see both names in the document.) Campbell provides a portrait of dancing on college campuses in the Rocky Mountain West and also a window into the rise of square dancing at this period of growth.
