Larry Edelman - square thru variations
Larry Edelman writes, "It’s a drill that I picked up from an issue of SIO, probably from 1959 or so. I’m sorry to say that I didn’t note which issue or year. If it had an author attributed to it, I typically would have noted the author, title, year, and source on my card. But it didn’t even have a title, so I would say it was a sequence from a list of generic drills. I always referred to it as “Square Thru 4, 3, 2, 5, and 6.” I used to teach it in workshops to help dancers learn the direction they would be facing at the conclusion of a square thru and also to help teach the concept of places, not faces."
